Robert Church is an attorney licensed to practice law in NC, MD and DC. Robert's private practice is primarily focused on family law and child custody issues in North Carolina. However, Robert has extensive litigation experience in both the federal and state courts of North Carolina and Maryland.
After graduating from Regent University Law School in 1993, Robert served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Bruce C. Williams in Anne Arundel County, MD. After his clerkship, Robert practiced in Maryland in the areas of bankruptcy law, personal injury, divorce, criminal, employment and copyright law. After moving his practice to North Carolina in 2002, he worked for the pre-paid legal services provider firm in Durham. Robert was awarded the Member's Choice Award from pre-paid legal services in his first two years with the provider firm. While at the firm, he filed the first Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower case in federal court which resulted in a split decision in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (Livingston v. Wyeth). Since 2005, Robert has worked with various firms and corporations on a contract basis, including Womble Carlyle in NC.
Robert now focuses his practice on family law and child custody issues in Raleigh, NC. However, Robert has the skill and flexibility to consider any legal need of his clients, whether that need requires assistance in or outside of court. |
